Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known as our beloved Dr. Seuss, was born in 1904 on Howard Street in Springfield, Massachusetts. Dr. Seuss has written and illustrated 44 children’s books, including all-time favorites like: The Cat in the Hat
, Green Eggs and Ham, Oh, the Places You’ll Go, Fox in Socks, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. His books have been translated into more than 15 languages and over 200 million copies have found their way into homes and hearts around the world. In addition to his books, his works have provided the source for eleven children’s television specials, a Broadway musical, and a feature-length motion picture. Other major motion pictures are on the way. His honors included two Academy awards, two Emmy awards, a Peabody award, and the Pulitzer Prize.

We personally own 22 of Dr. Seuss children’s books. 3 of which were my husbands when he was a child. There was a period with my oldest son where we read Fox in Socks
every day for months.

and the bottle’s on a poodle and the poodle’s eating noodles…
